Health Screenings

Foot & Ankle Outpatient Clinic

This weekly clinic is led by Mr. Jean Baptiste Néron, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon. He treats a wide range of problems, including heel pain and plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon conditions, bunions, hammertoes and ankle ligament injuries. Patients can access the full service on-site, with X-ray, CT and MRI scans, physiotherapy assessment and reviews, and same-day ultrasound-guided injections where required. A GP referral is needed to book an appointment.

Neurology Clinic

Dr. Tayyib Hayat, Consultant Neurologist, sees patients across all areas of adult neurology. He assesses and treats a wide range of conditions, including headache, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and peripheral nerve disease, and he also offers neurogenetics services.

Service update

A new CT scanner is now available at Cherrywood Day Hospital. This new cutting-edge system is equipped to deliver both general and cardiac CT imaging, significantly enhancing our diagnostic capabilities and patient care.

Our Injection Therapy Suites offer ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic guided joint injections for orthopaedic and spinal pain.

Online referrals for rapid access to Cardiac CT & Cardiac MRI & CTA. Access to the service is by referral only and you can send your referral directly to cardiacimaging@materprivate.ie
