How to Update Your Clinical Contact Details 

If your practice changes the email address used to send or receive patient clinical reports or documentation, please notify us at providercontactverification@materprivate.ie so we can update our records. This will help to ensure that patient reports and other essential communications are shared with you as efficiently as possible.

Mater Private Network in Dublin offers a walk-in X-ray service across all our facilities, including Eccles Street and Day Hospitals. GP referral required.

Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic, Cherrywood Day Hospital

Dr. Len Harty, Consultant Rheumatologist, has set up a new outpatient rheumatology clinic in our Day Hospital in Cherrywood, South Dublin. The clinic provides advice on osteoarthritis management and evaluation of patients with inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis, and systemic inflammatory disease. 

The clinic also accepts referrals for joint injection services for osteoarthritis patients who are not suitable candidates for surgical intervention. Referrals should be specifically for injection therapy and must confirm that other pathologies have been ruled out.

Foot & Ankle Clinic, Cherrywood Day Hospital

Mr. Jean-Baptiste Néron, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, has established a new foot and ankle outpatient clinic in our Day Hospital in Cherrywood. His practice focuses on innovative, minimally invasive techniques, with particular expertise in arthroscopy, helping to reduce complications and enhance functional recovery. 

Conditions treated include: 

  • Hallux valgus (bunion)
  • Neuromas
  • Ankle instability 
  • Flat foot/cavus foot
  • Osteoarthritis (ankle & foot)
  • Other sport disorders 

Depending on the patient’s needs, he offers conservative treatments, injections, or surgical procedures. Most procedures can be performed as day cases. Referrals are now being accepted.

Radiology Service Update | Additional Capacity for MRI Scans

Our MRI capacity has increased with the installation of a new MRI scanner in our Eccles St hospital. Routine appointments are now available within 5 days of referral, and sub-specialty expert analysis is provided within 2 working days from our team of 20+ highly experienced consultant radiologists. We will continue to drive improvements in radiology services to ensure your patients are diagnosed and treated as soon as possible.
