About our Precision Care Clinic

Mater Private Precision Care Clinic is a consultant-led service in Dublin focused on the assessment and management of cardiovascular, metabolic and neurological risk, including high blood pressure, family history of heart disease, and early signs of chronic conditions.

It is suitable both for those who want a clearer understanding of their health before disease develops, and for those already living with risk factors such as high blood pressure (hypertension), metabolic conditions, neurological concerns, or declining physical function.

Rather than focusing on a single issue, we assess how key systems, including the heart, brain, metabolism and musculoskeletal health, work together.

By identifying risk earlier and connecting these factors, we create a personalised plan to help reduce future disease risk, improve function and support long-term health.

Our service

Many health problems develop gradually, through small changes in energy, mobility, sleep, mood, and metabolism. Over time, these changes can increase risk across the heart, brain and body.

In many cases, this risk is already present – but not fully understood or addressed.

Most healthcare services focus on one system at a time. However, many conditions develop across multiple systems, with risk that builds where they overlap.

The Precision Care Clinic is designed to look at the full picture, giving you a clearer, more complete understanding of your health

We work with adults who want to understand their health more clearly, as well as those with recognised or emerging risk factors that are not fully controlled.

Using advanced imaging, physiological testing and functional assessment, we build a comprehensive profile of your health across four key areas:

  • Cardiovascular health
  • Brain health
  • Metabolic and liver health
  • Musculoskeletal and physical function

This allows us to move beyond single diagnoses and understand how risk is developing across your whole health.

We translate these findings into a personalised and measurable plan, focused not only on identifying risk, but on actively addressing it.

This may include targeted medical management, structured lifestyle intervention, and ongoing support to reduce risk, improve function and strengthen long-term health.

A GP referral letter is not necessary to request an appointment, but if you have one, you may share it during the booking process or by contacting our team directly.
