Our cancer centre is focused on the provision of an excellent standard of care to all patients who attend the facility. We work to ensure compliance with international and national standards including the HIQA guidelines on breast disease and the National Cancer Control Programme standards on Cervical Cancer Services.
The complexity of diagnosing and treating cancer often requires the collaboration of various clinical and medical experts. This multidisciplinary team, known as the cancer care team, plays an essential role in the patient's cancer treatment journey.

- Seven fully equipped operating theatres
- Diagnostic imaging department - includes x-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound, MRI
- Robotic-assisted surgery
- Triple assessment clinic for urgent breast symptoms
- Radiotherapy department - includes external radiation therapy, internal radiation therapy (brachytherapy)
- Cancer genetics service
- Pathology laboratory
- Pulmonary function laboratory
