Education & Experience
Dr. Moore has experience as a consultant radiation oncologist in Cork University Hospital following completion of his training in 2019. For his fellowship, he trained in thoracic and head and neck malignancies in Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, over 18 months, prior to returning to Mater Private in 2021.
Dr. Moore’s higher specialist training (HST) in radiation oncology was completed in Ireland over four years within the St Luke’s Network in Dublin, and a year in Galway University Hospital Radiation Oncology Department. He graduated from the Faculty of Radiology in the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2018. Prior to that, he graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons graduate medical programme in 2010, and completed general medical training (MRCPI examinations) as part of his basic specialist training prior to radiation oncology.

Clinical Research & Professional Memberships
During his fellowship in Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Dr. Moore had a special interest in late radiation effects following thoracic radiation: reviewing the development of pneumonitis following chemo-radiation whilst on durvalumab (PDL-1 inhibitor). In his second year he reviewed the interval time between surgery and radiation in oral cavity tumours and commenting on the impact of this on outcomes.
Dr. Moore’s professional memberships include fellow of the Faculty of Radiology, in the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (FFR(RCSI), and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI).
