Mr. Jürgen Mulsow, Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at Mater Private Network in Dublin, spoke on Hospital Live, RTE One, about treating patients with abdominal cancer using the Heated Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC). The treatment allows medical professionals to kill tumours that are not initially visible and help prevent further spread of cancer.
