About
Education & Experience
Dr. Cian McDermott is the Director of Emergency Ultrasound Education and a Consultant in Emergency Medicine in the Mater University Hospital in Dublin. He spent several years in Melbourne, Australia working in Emergency Medicine and specialising in point of care ultrasound. He is an associate clinical professor with UCD School of Medicine.
Clinical Research & Professional Memberships
Dr. McDermott holds a Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound accreditation with the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
He is also in the process of credentialling in level 2 transthoracic echocardiography with the European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).
