We are seeking a highly motivated deputy radiology services manager to join our team on a temporary basis, covering a maternity leave starting August 2025.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our diagnostic imaging department across multiple locations. You will provide strong leadership, support the radiology team, and drive continuous quality improvement, all while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and experience. 

Purpose of post 

• Provide leadership in the development and delivery of radiology services and structures, prioritizing patient care and experience in line with Mater Private Network's ethos. 
• Lead radiology staff across multiple locations, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery. Drive continuous quality improvement and manage change effectively. 
• Develop services and structures strategically through clinical governance, quality improvement, and change management, aligning with overall organizational objectives. 
• Supervise and support the radiology team (radiographers, assistants, administrative staff), fostering a positive and efficient working environment. 

 Required skills & experience 

• BSc in Radiography or an equivalent qualification. 
• A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience. 
• Post graduate qualification desirable 
• CORU registration.
• IT skills and working knowledge of PACS/radiology information systems/EHR. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills including the capacity for analytical thinking and problem solving 
• Experience of multi-site diagnostic imaging services desirable.
• Experience of both complex inpatient and high volume outpatient services desirable.
