About our services

Dr Ian Gargan along with his team provide psychological and medical services addressing the following for patients:

  • General mental health support
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Psychological disorders
  • Optimising mental health status generally and in those who have experienced medically unexplained symptoms (MUS)

The team can also provide medico-legal assessments as well as reports in relation to cognitive function and intellectual capacity for both adults and children. The team have the capacity to prescribe.

Dr Gargan and the team work as part of the surgical and metabolic multidisciplinary team responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients undergoing bariatric intervention. 

Medical support and treatments include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), clinical and counselling psychology among others. Patients can be seen on and off-site as well as online.
