About

Education & Experience

Dr. Andres Arteaga graduated in Medicine from La Universidad del Zulia, Venezuela, in 2013 and completed his Internal Medicine Specialist Training at Hospital Universitari Son Espases, Spain, in 2021. Since then, he has been working as a Consultant in Internal Medicine in Spain, with expertise in acute and chronic disease management, stroke rehabilitation, geriatric care, and HIV prevention.

Special Interests

Dr. Arteaga’s interests include complex multimorbidity, acute medicine, geriatric rehabilitation, and HIV prevention and sexual health. He has extensive experience in multidisciplinary care, promoting patient-centred treatment and family involvement.

Clinical Research & Professional Memberships

Dr. Arteaga is a member of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI) and has presented HIV research projects, communications, and posters at SEMI and GESIDA conferences. He has participated in academic discussions and professional training in HIV prevention and internal medicine best practices.
