Service Updates - Upcoming Travel Disruption in Dublin & Dublin Hospital Restaurant Refurbishment
Upcoming Travel Disruption
Significant traffic restrictions and transport diversions will affect Dublin from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th November for the EU Summit. Please allow extra travel time and check your route in advance.
Please be assured that our Eccles Street hospital is open as normal during this period, and your appointment is going ahead as planned. If you are running late for your appointment during this period, do not worry, our care teams will work to accommodate you for your appointment if you are late.
Helpful travel information during this period is available through An Garda Síochána, Irish Rail, Dublin Bus, and Transport for Ireland.
Dublin Restaurant Refurbishment
The restaurant at our Dublin hospital is temporarily closed for refurbishment from 6th November and will reopen after 20th December.
In the meantime, sandwiches, salads, pastries, confectionery and beverages can be purchased on a grab-and-go basis from a dedicated space just inside the main entrance, on the ground floor.
A fully stocked vending machine is also located near the ground floor lifts. Alternatively, a selection of cafés is located within a short walk of the hospital.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve our service for patients and visitors.
