About
Ms. Natalija Snovak is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Laryngologist at the Mater Private Network, Dublin.
Education & Experience
Ms. Snovak graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2007 and completed speciality training in Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in Croatia. She holds an MCh in Otorhinolaryngology and is a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology ā Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL-HNS). She completed a dedicated Laryngology Fellowship at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, UK, developing advanced expertise in voice, swallowing and airway disorders. She is currently undertaking a PhD at Trinity College Dublin.
Special Interests
Ms. Snovak has a specialist interest in voice, swallowing and airway disorders, with particular expertise in minimally invasive and office-based laryngology. Her practice includes transnasal oesophagoscopy, balloon dilatation, vocal fold injection augmentation, laser procedures, Botox treatment and laryngeal electromyography. Her surgical expertise includes microlaryngoscopy and phonosurgery, medialisation thyroplasty and recurrent laryngeal nerve reinnervation. She also has extensive experience in paediatric ENT and paediatric voice disorders.
Clinical Research & Professional Memberships
Ms. Snovak is actively involved in clinical research and education in laryngology. Her current PhD research at Trinity College Dublin focuses on vocal tract discomfort, and her research interests also include cricopharyngeal dysfunction, swallowing disorders, professional voice and paediatric voice. She has presented her work at national and international laryngology meetings and has published in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the British Laryngological Association, European Laryngological Society, ENT UK and Irish Head and Neck Society, among other professional organisations.
