Education & Experience  

Mr. Zeb Chughtai is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Mater Private Network in Dublin.

Following completion of his initial medical training at Nishtar Medical University in Pakistan in 1995, Mr. Chughtai worked at Nishtar Hospital before moving to St James’s Hospital in Dublin where he achieved MRCS and FRCS qualifications in 2001. He has undergone Specialist Registrar (SpR) training, completed the intercollegiate FRCS board exam in 2009, and completed an advanced cardiac surgery and transplant fellowship at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. He assumed the role of Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in 2010. In 2024, he joined Mater Private Network in Dublin in his current role.

Special Interests  

Mr. Chughtai’s interests include arterial revascularisation, valvular heart disease, and aortic surgery, with a specific focus on minimally invasive aortic valve surgery.
