Education & Experience

Mr. Radu Puiu graduated from the Carl Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest in 2008. Mr. Puiu completed his residency training programme in orthopaedics and traumatology in Bucharest in 2016. He has been a part of the Irish Medical Council Registration Specialist Division since 2017. Mr. Puiu joined Mater Private Network as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2023.

Special Interests

Mr. Puiu’s special interests include bikini hip replacement, minimally invasive knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, ankle arthroscopy, revision knee and hip surgery, robotic assisted hip and knee surgery, sport surgery, and trauma surgery.

Clinical Research & Professional Memberships

Mr. Puiu holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and Societatea Romana de Ortopedie si Traumatologie (SOROT).
