Education & Experience
Dr. Susan Wilson is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Mater Private Network, Cork.
Dr. Wilson graduated from Queens University Belfast, Medical School in 2012. After completing foundation training in the North of Ireland she pursued a training post in obstetrics and gynaecology working for the NHS. Throughout her training she has always had a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures, known as laparoscopy (keyhole) and hysteroscopy - treating women with endometriosis, menstrual problems, ovarian cysts or concerns about cancer.
In 2022, she undertook a fellowship in Urogynaecology and Advanced Laparoscopy with Prof. Barry O’Reilly and Dr. Aoife McSweeney at Mater Private Network, Cork.

Clinical Research & Professional Memberships
She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist, UK (MRCOG). Throughout her training she was a member of the UK Audit and Research Collaborative in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (ARCOG), an audit and research team focused on the improvement of women’s health through research, audit and quality improvement.
