About

Education & Experience

Dr. Roxana Maria Tudor is a Consultant Endocrinologist and General Physician at Mater Private Network in Dublin. She completed dual Higher Specialist Training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Internal Medicine through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI), with extensive experience across several major Dublin teaching hospitals. 

She has broad experience in the assessment and management of endocrine disorders, including thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, calcium and bone disorders, diabetes and polymetabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS). Alongside her endocrinology practice, she provides care for patients requiring general internal medicine assessment and inpatient management.

Clinical Research 

Dr. Tudor was awarded an MD by research from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) following an investigator-led clinical trial in Addison’s disease, examining the effects of modified-release hydrocortisone on circadian rhythms, sleep and quality of life. She remains actively involved in clinical research and has presented and published her work across a range of areas within endocrinology. 

She has a strong interest in medical education and is an RCPI-appointed tutor for the Basic and Higher Specialist Training programmes. She has taught medical students and postgraduate doctors and has contributed to the national review and development of the Endocrinology and Diabetes training curriculum. Dr. Tudor also supports patient education through her involvement with Addison & Adrenal Support Ireland, including speaking at patient-focused educational events.
