About

Education & Experience 

Dr. Mohamad Mustafa is a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Mater Private Network’s Outreach Clinic in Drogheda and serves as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences. He trained in Ireland and the UK, acquiring extensive experience in all areas of endocrinology and diabetes across a variety of clinical settings. He completed a fellowship in neuroendocrinology and rare endocrine disorders at the University Hospital of Oxford, UK.

Dr. Mustafa holds a Master's degree in Clinical Research and Methodology and a PGCert in Healthcare Management.

Dr. Mustafa’s special interests include diabetes mellitus, overweight and obesity, lipid disorders, thyroid and other endocrine disorders, reproductive endocrinology, adrenal disorders, and calcium and bone metabolism.

Clinical Research & Professional Memberships 

Dr. Mustafa has a strong academic background with numerous peer-reviewed publications and extensive presentations at national and international conferences. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and the Royal College of Physicians of UK (RCP Edinburgh). Dr. Mustafa is also member of several professional societies, including the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI), the Irish Endocrine Society, the Society of Endocrinology UK, the European Society of Endocrinology, and the Endocrine Society in the USA.
