Dr. Michael Cronin is a consultant cardiologist at Mater Private Network, Dublin.

Education & Experience

MB BAO LRCP and SI (RCSI 2015), MRCPI (RCPI 2019), MSc (UCD 2026), PhD (RCSI 2025).

Special Interests

Dr. Cronin's special interests include cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, periprocedural echocardiography. He is fully accredited with European society of Cardiology in transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, as well as cardiac CT and MRI (both level 3), and periprocedural echocardiography for minimally-invasive cardiac procedures (mitral and tricuspid repair/replacement, septal defect and atrial appendage closure, paravalvular leak closure).

Clinical Research & Professional Memberships

Dr. Cronin has a PhD in cardiac imaging (RCSI 2025), an MSc in Health Professions Education (UCC 2026), and is a fellow of the European society of Cardiology.
