Experience
Dr. Pauriah graduated from The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and undertook his training in general medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. He later specialised in cardiology training in Merseyside and Dundee. In 2010, Dr. Pauriah began his sub-specialty training in electrophysiology. As a part of this programme, he was awarded a fellowship in two of Europe’s leading centres – University Hospital, Nancy in France and The Royal Brompton NHS Foundation Trust in London. He has published widely, with over 25 research papers to his name. Dr Pauriah joined Mater Private Cork on a full-time basis in 2015 and he leads our electrophysiological programme. Services offered by Dr. Pauriah: diagnostic testing, syncope clinic, electrophysiological mapping, ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, cardioversion, loop recorder insertion, pacemaker and device implantation, and management of cardiac devices.
