Education & Experience
Dr. Ahmed Abdelaatti is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at Mater Private Network, Dublin. Dr. Abdelaatti completed his specialisation in anaesthesia in Ireland, and trained in a variety of teaching hospitals to acquire experience in all aspects of anaesthesia, intensive care and pain. He has performed numerous leadership, management and teaching roles including his special lecturer/clinical tutor/research fellow with University College Dublin at its clinical site The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Dr. Abdelaatti is an advocate for continuous education and research. He holds European Diploma of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (EDAIC), Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (FCAI), Master’s degree in Health Care Simulation and Patient Safety (HSPS) from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a diploma in Healthcare Management form University College Dublin
Clinical Research & Professional Memberships
Dr. Abdelaatti actively participates in research and has numerous scientific publications. He has also co-authored a book chapter for the UCD medical students. He is a member of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care.
