Mater Private Network named runner-up for Ireland’s Most Trusted Website Award


Mater Private Network was awarded second place in the Most Trusted Website of the Year category at the National Digital Awards on Friday, 23rd February 2024.

Over 550 businesses, organisations, and individuals from around Ireland submitted applications across 22 categories at the National Digital Awards 2024, operated by Digital Business Ireland. Achieving this result places Mater Private Network alongside other leading organisations in the digital space in Ireland.

‘’The overhaul of our website began in 2021 with the primary objective of building a patient-centric,  multi-stakeholder conscious site” says Micaela Cassisa, Digital Marketing Manager at Mater Private Network. “We are a small team, so clarity and collaboration were key elements to enable us to achieve our objective. We chose Arekibo for design and build, and InsideOut Consulting supported us with content development.  We also engaged closely with colleagues across our network and sought input from the public and healthcare professionals.  We launched at the beginning of 2022, with a new design, functionality, structure, and tone that was very well received, and the site continues to evolve as needs and priorities change’’.

Our website now empowers patients to take control of their healthcare journey through Mater Private Network by providing them with trustworthy information which informs their decisions. When people visit our hospital, they are often at their most vulnerable. Trust in the information we have provided them and in the care they receive is of utmost importance.
