Liam Dunne Appointed as Group COO of Mater Private Network

Mater Private Network has appointed Liam Dunne as Group Chief Operations Officer of the organisation. Mr. Dunne took up the role on 1st January 2023. 

As Chief Operations Officer, Liam will work to ensure Mater Private Network upholds its reputation as Ireland’s leading private hospital group, delivering operational excellence across each of its ten sites. A particularly exciting aspect of Liam’s role is to be part of the team driving Mater Private Network’s digital transformation project, which will deliver Ireland’s most advanced Electronic Health Records System - a single, unified patient record which will encompass the entirety of the patient’s journey.

With a wealth of experience, Liam joins Mater Private Network at a pivotal time in its pioneering history bringing with him vast knowledge from previous roles with industry leaders such as CRH plc, EY Ireland and Diageo across finance, operations and transformation programmes. 

 

Commenting on his appointment Liam Dunne, Group COO of Mater Private Network said:

Today, Mater Private Network employs over 2,500 staff and 300 consultants across a range of specialities and together they treat approximately 170,000 patients every year. The network is renowned for medical innovation and the provision of high acuity care and is a national leader for heart and cancer specialties.
