Dublin Cardiovascular Research Forum - Dr. J. J. Coughlan

Dr. Coughlan studied medicine in Trinity College Dublin and graduated with an honours degree in 2012. His internship and general medical training was completed on the Trinity training schemes. Following four years of Higher Specialist Cardiology Training in Ireland, he was awarded a training grant by the European Association for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (EAPCI) to undertake a fellowship in the German Heart Centre in Munich, Germany. Dr Coughlan’s current research interests include anti-thrombotic therapy strategies for patients with acute coronary syndromes undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Dr. Coughlan is currently a Cardiologist at Mater Private Network.
