Mr. Girish Nama

Education & Experience  

Mr. Girish Nama is a specialist in urology. He qualified from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 1992 and subsequently achieved a master's of surgery in 1995. He then transferred to Ireland for higher surgical training in urology and obtained fellowship in urology from Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. 

Mr. Nama has worked in several university hospitals in Ireland where he achieved best practice standards in performing endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic and complex open surgeries. Mr. Nama practised as a consultant urologist before joining Mater Private Hospital Cork in October 2020. Mr. Nama brings a wealth of experience in complex procedures in kidney, urinary bladder and prostate.
