Staff Nurse - Cardiology Clinic (15 hours per week)

In this role, you will work Monday to Friday on a shift basis between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations by entering prescription/medication information from patient referrals into electronic health records (EHR) for heart and vascular patients at the point of scheduling as part of clinic preparation.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Responding to any medication and clinical inquiries from patients in real-time at the point of scheduling. This will involve answering phone calls, returning messages
- Collaborating closely with both the outpatient care team and cath lab scheduling team.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse
- Be on the live register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- 2 years post-qualification experience in an acute care setting
- Cardiology experience/knowledge essential
