Senior Occupational Therapist

Mater Private Network is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Purpose of the Post

• Provide direct, high-quality occupational therapy assessment and treatment for patients.
• Collaborate with the Head of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy to develop and improve the service.
• Ensure professional standards are maintained throughout the patient care process, from initial assessment and diagnosis to treatment planning and ongoing progress monitoring.
  

Professional qualifications, registration, essential skills & knowledge.

• Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification which has been validated by the Minister of Health and Children
• CORU registration.
• Experience in an acute hospital setting is preferable
• Required minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
• Experience in medical rehabilitation is preferable
• Ability to use own initiative, work independently and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• High level of flexibility and problem-solving skills to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a high-volume workload.
