Heart & Vascular Multitask Attendant

Mater Private Network are looking for a highly motivated multitask attendant to join the Heart & Vascular department.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Purpose of role:

• Patient care: collecting/delivering patients, providing care, lifting, positioning, and walking patients, and assisting with the removal of deceased patients to the mortuary.
• Cleaning and equipment: carrying out cleaning routines to theatre standard in all patient areas (e.g., cath labs, anaesthetic and testing rooms), moving equipment, and checking, cleaning, and assembling medical equipment.
• Logistics and stock: assisting with the overall stock of all cath labs (e.g., picking, delivering, and replenishing stock) and preparing refuse, clinical waste, and linen for removal.
• Compliance: acting in accordance with health and safety, infection control, lifting and handling techniques, and the hospital’s fire and waste disposal policies.
  

Skills & qualifications:

• Good general standard of education required.
• Awareness/sensitivity towards patients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
