GI Physiologist

Mater Private Network is one of the top private hospital networks in Ireland. Mater Private Dublin provides a comprehensive gastro-intestinal physiology service including high resolution manometry, combined pH and impedance testing, ano-rectal manometry, urea breath testing and fibro scan testing.

Qualifications and experience

• Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technology University Dublin or Dublin Institute of Technology.

Or 

• Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Science (IICMS).

Or 

• If qualified in or prior to 2005 (a) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Or 

• (b) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management, consultants, staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.
• Post qualification GI physiology experience is advantageous however those with qualifications with training in high resolution manometry but without post-qualification GI physiology experience may also be considered for a basic position.

Pay scale: €40,794 - €66,496 dependent on experience.
