An opportunity has arisen in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) department as a EHR service specialist - pharmacy and oncology.

This is a six month, fixed-term contract.

An EHR Pharmacy Specialist plays a critical role in integrating pharmacy workflows within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role ensures medication management processes are accurate, efficient, compliant, and patient safe.

 

Duties & responsibilities

The main areas of the core competencies for an EHR Pharmacy Specialist are:

Skills & qualifications

Experience

  • BPharm, MPharm or equivalent
  • MSc in clinical pharmacy or equivalent an advantage
  • Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
  • Experience in an oncology pharmacy department and ACU
  • Experience and involvement in clinical trials
  • Minimum 1 years of successful experience in a in an IT / data / systems department in a business of sufficient scale and complexity
  • Successful experience in delivering performance improvement initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Education

  • Minimum Level 7 NVQ Financial / Professional / Clinical qualification require
