Clinical Nurse Manager II - Clinical Facilitator

We are currently inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager II – Clinical Facilitator for our intensive care unit, due to open in October 2024.

The clinical facilitator will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to lead a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care in ICU. He/she must demonstrate excellent work practices and acting as a role model use the necessary skills to educate others through coaching, mentoring and clinical expertise.

Candidate requirements:

• Registered general nurse
• Be on the live register with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Demonstrable commitment to patient safety and quality
• Up to date knowledge in ICU nursing
• Management qualification/educational preparation to degree level desirable
• Higher Diploma in Intensive Care desirable
• Minimum three years experience in a people management role
• Proven leadership and change management skills
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills
• Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills
• Vision of development of service
