About
Education & Experience
Mr. Seamus McHugh a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Mater Private Network, Dublin. He graduated from UCD in 2005 and completed his post graduate research MD with RCSI in 2011. Following surgical training in General and Vascular Surgery in Ireland, he travelled to Toronto, Canada, where he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Mr. McHugh was appointed as Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Beaumont Hospital in 2016, and in 2023 he joined our team of Vascular Surgeons at Mater Private Network Dublin.
Clinical Research
To date Mr. McHugh has published over 50 peer reviewed articles, received the Clinical Research Associate of the Year award at the Irish Healthcare Awards, and is currently the specialty editor for vascular surgery with “The Surgeon” journal.
