Speaker: Dr. Colm G. Hanratty,  Consultant Cardiologist and Director of Cath Lab at the Mater Private Hospital, Ireland.

Title: "Treatment of complex coronary artery disease - Live in box case transmission"

Dr. Colm Hanratty graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1992.  He was awarded his MRCPI from Edinburgh University in 1995 and MD from Queen’s University Belfast in 2000.  He completed his general medical and cardiology training at Belfast City Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast, Northern Ireland.  His fellowship in Interventional Cardiology was in Sydney, Australia, followed by further specialist Cardiology training in Belfast City and Antrim Area Hospitals, Northern Ireland.  In 2003 Dr. Hanratty was appointed as an Interventional Cardiologist in Belfast City Hospital.  In February 2020 he joined the Mater Private Hospital Dublin, where he took up the role as Director of Cath Lab. Dr Hanratty has sub-specialty interest in the management of complex Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and is internationally recognised as one of the leading interventionists in terms of complex and chronic total occlusion PCI.  Dr. Hanratty is extensively published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the American Heart Journal, Lancet, EuroIntervention, European Heart Journal, Catheterisation and Cardiovascular Interventions, and Journal of Invasive Cardiology.
