ROI Reimbursement Scheme - Public Information Meeting (Online)

The Republic of Ireland (ROI) Reimbursement Scheme (formerly the European Union Cross Border Directive) allows a patient to travel to the Republic of Ireland to receive their surgery or medical treatment.  Once approved by the HSCNI Board, patients usually pay for treatment themselves and can be reimbursed afterwards for approximately 50 - 80% of these costs.

 

Mater Private Network is Ireland’s leading private hospital group, located in Dublin and Cork. We offer surgery and treatment for a wide range of conditions for which waiting lists may be lengthy, including: orthopaedics, spine, cardiology, and general surgery such as gall bladder, hernia, prostate and more. 

 

Consultations are generally available within 3 – 5 days, and surgery within 4 weeks of approval. Our locations are easily accessible by car or train.
