Living With Cancer

We are here to support you everyday during and after your treatment here with us at the Mid-Western Radiation Oncology Centre.


Every single treatment journey is different, so if it helps you, please ask any questions you have and tell us how you are feeling. If you prefer not to then that’s fine too.

If you would like to know more about support groups, we will do our best to inform you.

The "Cancer Information and Support Centre" onsite is a great source of support and information, from booklets to support groups to just having a nice place to pop-in to and have a chat or a cuppa.

    Cancer Information and Support Centre

    This is a a fantastic facility which has drop-in services as well as organised support groups. It is located here on the grounds, close by to the radiotherapy suite. You and your family can drop in for a chat, to relax or to find out more about available services and supports

    Pastoral Care

    There is access to pastoral care services provided in the hospital. There is a full time catholic pastoral care team and visiting ministers from other denominations. If you would like to meet one of the team, let us know so that we can organise it for you. There is a chapel located in the main hospital.
