COVID-19 Updates

At Mater Private Network our priority at all times is to protect the health, safety and well-being of our patients and staff.  

All new patients, review patients and patients on treatment must complete pre-screening before arriving for an appointment. You will be contacted before your appointment to go through the pre-screening questionnaire. 

On the day of your appointment, when you arrive at the car park, please phone the screening staff, as advised. 
You will be asked to stay in your car until treatment is ready to start. When you enter the building to check-in, your temperature will be checked before your treatment starts. 

Patients are asked to wear masks when it is medically appropriate for them to do so and to use the hand sanitisers provided. 

Family members can attend new patient clinics, however at the moment, patients who can attend alone for treatment or for review appointments are encouraged to do so to reduce the number of contacts in the facility. 

Now that we are in Level 5, we have introduced telephone consultations for review to reduce the footfall into the department. 


All staff are kept up to date with the latest infection control guidelines, use hand hygiene measures and wear the appropriate level of PPE.


Additional cleaning hours are in place since March 2020 in the general areas and in the treatment areas. Seating in the reception area has been repositioned to support social distancing.
