Dr Sally O’Shea is a graduate of University College Cork. She completed her general medical training in Cork before undertaking dermatology training in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Waterford Regional Hospital, Beaumont Hospital and the Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street.
With a keen interest in melanoma, she was awarded a Cancer Research UK Clinical Research Fellowship and PhD by the University of Leeds. Currently, she has 30 publications and has presented at national and international conferences. She has been involved in public engagement activities on behalf of Cancer Research UK. She is passionate about melanoma research and has provided dermoscopy courses.
With experience as a dermatologist in Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, she now joins the team at the Mater Private Hospital.
