In this role, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with sleep and respiratory disorders. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tests, including sleep studies, pulmonary function tests, and allergy testing. You will also be involved in patient education, data analysis, and quality assurance.

You will:

  • Conduct sleep studies (PSG, MSLT) and manage CPAP therapy for patients with sleep disorders.
  • Perform a range of pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion testing, and methacholine challenge testing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide patient education and counselling on sleep hygiene and respiratory management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

To be successful, you will:

  • Have a clinical measurement science or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a minimum of three years of experience in sleep and respiratory physiology – preferred but not essential. 
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be highly motivated and have a strong commitment to patient care.
