Catering

The Catering Services Department of the Mater Private Hospital is committed to achieving the highest level of quality which will ensure that the service we provide will meet your requirements.

The Catering Department opens at 7am and catering staff are on duty until 9pm daily to assist you. In order to provide the safest food possible within the Hospital environment and to comply with food safety legislation, we encourage patients not to bring food into the Hospital.

Our catering department is acknowledged for its high standards and wonderful food. We take great pride in our food and we endeavour to source as much fresh Irish produce as possible. On your bedside table you will find a menu card and an information leaflet with details of meal times and how to order. Every effort is made to provide a variety of food to suit all tastes. If there is anything in particular that you require or should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the Catering Manager on duty (Ext 8521) or reception.

If you are admitted to the hospital after 6.30pm, the catering staff can arrange for a “light meal” to be brought to your room.
