Medications
- A copy of any current prescriptions.
- Any prescription or non-prescription medicines or remedies you are taking, in the original pharmacy container.
- Any high tech medicine, in the original pharmacy container.
- A list of any other medicines or herbal remedies you are currently taking.
Health Insurance
If you are attending the hospital under a health insurance scheme
- We advise you to check details of your cover prior to admission by contacting your insurance company or our Patient Accounts Department (Tel 01 885 8856 or 885 8124. Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm)
- If you are not insured or your cover requires you to pay a supplement, you will be asked to pay a deposit on admission. This will be offset against your final account.
- Where relevant, charges are payable on the day the service is provided or on discharge, unless otherwise stated.
- If you are attending the hospital under a Government funded scheme, the hospital will have the relevant information before you arrive.

Special Requirements
- If you have special dietary, religious or disability requirements, please let us know in advance of your admission so that we can meet your needs.

- Toiletries
- Comb or hairbrush
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Pyjamas/nightdress
- Dressing gown and slippers
- Spectacles, contact lenses, hearing aid and dentures – Try, where possible, to keep these in their protective containers when not in use to ensure that they do not become mislaid.
- Small amount of cash for sundry items
- Reading materials
- X-rays/Reports
- Medical information
- Medicines/Prescriptions
