The risk of breast cancer increases with age, however awareness helps to save lives. For this reason we have held a Cups against cancer coffee afternoon to help support the Irish Cancer Society in their fight against cancer.

Last Friday the GP Buddy Awards took place in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel and Dr. Emmet Kerin of Treaty Medical Centre in Limerick has been named GP of the Year GP of the Year.
A tiny, high tech device known as CardioMEMS has been implanted into a number of Irish patients for the first time following a clinical trial overseen by Professor Niall Mahon, Consultant Cardiologist and UCD Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin. This device provides heart failure physicians with an early warning system and enables them to monitor their patients remotely on a daily basis from their homes.
